Indication

Poultry: - Activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Ceftiofur showed high in vitro activity against P. multocida associated with respiratory disease. It also shows in vitro activity against E. coli, and Salmonella spp. - Control early mortality associated with Escherichia coli (E.coli) in day-old chicks and turkey poults. cattle: for treatment of Bovine Respiratory Disease (Shipping fever, Pneumonia) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Histophilus somni. It is also indicated for treatment of acute Bovine Interdigital Necrobacillosis (Foot Rot, Pododermatitis) associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus. Swine: for treatment / control of swine Bacterial Respiratory Disease ( Swine Bacterial Pneumonia ) associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae , Pasteurella multocida , Salmonella choleraesuis and Streptococcus suis. sheep & goats: for treatment of sheep/Caprine Respiratory Disease associated with Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida. Horses: for treatment of respiratory infections associated with Streptococcus zooepidemicus
