ALBENDAZOLE 2.5% – PHARMA SWEDE is indicated for control of different types of worms and adult liver fluke in cattle & sheep. Cattle : Roundworms infestation by Bunostomum, Chabertia, Cooperia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Strongyloides and Trichostrongylus spp. Lungworms infestation by Dictyocaulus viviparus. Tapeworms infestation by Moniezia spp. Adult liver fluke infestation by adult Fasciola hepatica. Sheep : Roundworms infestation by Chabertia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus ( including N. battus ) , Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia and Trichostrongylus spp. Lungworms infestation by Dictyocaulus filaria. Tapeworms infestation by Moniezia spp. Adult liver fluke infestation by adult Fasciola hepatica. Albendazole is ovicidal and will kill fluke and roundworm eggs, thus reducing pasture contamination.
To be given orally as a single dose. Cattle: For Roundworms and Tapeworms: 1.5 ml / 5 kg. B.Wt as a single dose. For Adult flukes: 1 ml / 2.5 kg. B.Wt as a single dose. Sheep: For Roundworms and Tapeworms: 1 ml/ 5 kg. B.Wt as a single dose. For Adult flukes: 1.5 ml / 5 kg. B.Wt as a single dose.
Contra-indication
Not to be used in sheep producing milk for human consumption. Not to be used in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.
