Amprolium and ethopabate are anticoccidial combination which achieve a broader spectrum and good activity against Eimeria spp. Both drugs produces its anticoccidial effect by acting on the early first generation of merozoites and schizonts (Asexual stage).They are preventing the uptake of thiamin (vit.B1) by the coccidial cell.
