Boviral 4 ® is recommended for the prevention of respiratory complications in bovines which can be triggered in the presence of a viral group formed by the following micro-organisms: Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis Virus (IBR), Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVD), Parainfluenza Virus 3 (PI-3) and Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV). Boviral 4 ® is a suspension of attenuated virus of colored IBR strain, DVB genotype 1a, New York genotype 1b and genotype 2, cytopathic and un-cytopathic biotypes, Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV) and Parainfluenza Virus 3 (PI-3), with aluminum hydroxide gel as excipient. The administration of this vaccine prevents respiratory complications sometimes associated with bacterial agents which can trigger respiratory symptoms, fever, tearing, depression, dyspnea, cough and nasal secretion. In other cases, animals affected by the virus can show vaginitis, balanoposthitis, abortions, enteritis, conjunctivitis, encephalitis and general affections in newborns; which is why the vaccination with Boviral 4 ® is of the utmost importance.

Dosage
For the first immunization on calves, we recommend the application of a 5.0 ml dose before weaning, repeat the process at the age of 4 weeks and administrate the booster shot at the age of 6 months. For adult bovines, one 5.0 ml dose annually. For cows and heifers, we recommend the administration between 30 and 90 days before the insemination.¬The administration is allowed for pregnant animals.
