For the treatment and control of gastro-intestinal nematodes, lungworms, flukes, eyeworms, warbles, mites and lice (as shown below) of beef and non-lactating dairy cattle. Gastro-intestinal worms: (adult and fourth stage larvae): Ostertagia ostertagi(including inhibited larval stages), Ostertagia lyrata, Haemonchus placei,Trichostrongylus axei, Thrichostrongylus colubriformis, Cooperia oncophora,Cooperia punctata, Cooperia pectinata, Bunostomum phlebotomum,Oesophagostomum radiatum, Strongyloides papillosus (adult), Nematodirus helvetianus (adult), Nematodirus spathiger (adult) and Trichuris spp (adult). Lungworms: (adult and fourth stage larvae): Dictyocaulus viviparus Eyeworms: (adult): Thelazia spp. Flukes: (adult): Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola gigantic Warbles: (parasitic stages): Hypoderma bovis and H. lineatum Mites: Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis Sucking lice: Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus andSolenopotes capillatus. May also be used as an aid in the control of the mange mite Chorioptes bovis and biting lice (Damalinia bovis), but complete elimination may not occur.
10 ml, 20 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml and 500 ml multi-dose plastic vials.
Dosage
1ml per 50 kg bodyweight (based on the recommended dose of 200 mcg ivermectin per kg bodyweight), administered by subcutaneous injection in front of, or behind the shoulder using aseptic technique. A sterile 17 gauge x half inch (15-20 mm) needle is recommended.
Contra-indication
IVERMECTIN 10 PLUS injection should not be used in other species as severe adverse reactions, including fatalities may occur.
