Doxycycline inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit. Doxycycline has bacteriostatic activity against a broad range of Gram-positive and Gramnegative bacteria. Tylosin has a bacteriostatic effect on susceptible organisms, caused by inhibition of protein synthesis through binding to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome. UNIDOX TYLOSIN is indicated for respiratory and digestive diseases. Poultry: CRD, laryngotracheitis infections, E.coli, coryza, mournful breathing difficulty, diarrhea with green, white and viscous scours. Animal: Enteritis, diarrhea with white and yellow, leptospirosis, pneumonia, pasteurellosis.
