Florfenicol´s mechanism of action is the inhibition of protein synthesis by bacterialpeptidyl transferase, by binding to 50S subunit of ribosomes. UNIFLO20 is for treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infections caused by florfenicol sensitive microorganisms such as Actinobaccillus spp., Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp. and Streptococcus spp. in poultry.
