Tylosin has a bacteriostatic effect on susceptible organisms, caused by inhibition of protein synthesis through binding to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome. Fosfomycin is a bactericidal antibiotic that interferes with cell wall synthesis in both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria by inhibiting the initial step involving phosphoenolpyruvate synthetase. Reliable for the treatment of poultry gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by Gram-positive, Gram-negative and Mycoplasmas in cases of: Mycoplasmosis, Colibacillosis, CRD (Chronic Respiratory Disease), Staphylococcus infections, Listeriosis, Avian Cholera, infectious Coryza, and diseases caused by Fosfomycin and/or Tylosin susceptible organisms.
