Amoxicillin is an half synthetic penicillin. The main advantages of Amoxicillin are: broad spectrum antibiotic, bactericidal action enhanced, excellent diffusion and high concentration into all tissues. The pulmonary tropism is important. Amoxicillin is poorly metabolized. It is largely eliminated by the kidneys into the urine under its active form. Acting at a very early stage on microorganisms in their active multiplication phase, Amoxicillin is recommended for acute disease as first intention treatment.

VETRIMOXIN^® 50 MATRIX Premix, with the Ceva Matrix Technology^®(CMT), is a granulated premix. The CMT protects the molecule of amoxicillin from early destruction, hence guaranteeing a high level of effective amoxicillin during the shelf-life of the product. CMT allows a better homogeneity after mixing thanks to an adequate granulometry and thanks to a reduced rate of demixing. CMT produces granules; this generates a low dust level when mixing.
